Industry AI Sales Specialist(m/w/x)
In this hybrid role, you will develop and implement sales strategies for Industry HPC and Enterprise AI, engaging with diverse customer personas. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve shaping decision-making criteria, driving proposals, and maintaining competitive insights to ensure success.
Requirements
- University or Bachelor's degree
- Advanced sales experience ideally in the Data Science and AI environment
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop and close complex sales in enterprise accounts
- Challenger Sales attitude
- Demonstrate sales grit and determination
- Capable of engaging in technical and business conversations
- Eagerness to develop deep knowledge and continuous learning
- Understanding of AI/ML and HPC related personas
- Ability to build thought leadership and perform trusted advisor role
- Experience working in a dynamic international environment
- Ability to take a deal through the sales cycle
- Ability to work at both tactical and strategic levels
- Positive, can-do, self-starter mentality
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Business fluency in English language
Tasks
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for Industry HPC, Enterprise AI, and Service Provider
- Liaise with various customer personas, including IT decision makers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers
- Lead with the AI Factory strategy and portfolio
- Articulate HPE’s perspective on trends like Generative AI and Hybrid Cloud
- Shape customer decision-making criteria based on an advisory-led approach
- Guide prospects to HPE’s differentiated portfolio, including Industry HPC and AI Factory
- Understand and effectively communicate HPE AI-at-Scale offerings and value propositions
- Develop pursuit plans and manage the sales pipeline
- Establish consultative relationships with prospects to understand their unique business needs
- Drive proposal development, negotiations, and deal closures
- Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position HPE’s solutions
- Interface with internal and external experts to anticipate prospect needs
- Focus on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for long-term success
- Partner with AI Excellence Center and local Go-to-Market teams to define winning strategies
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives
