Field Application Scientist(m/w/x)
Demonstrating Nanoimager technology for cellular studies on a molecular level. Data analysis of biological samples and protocol design for sample preparation required. 28 days annual leave, 4 wellbeing days, private healthcare.
Requirements

- Balancing and prioritizing multiple projects
- Teamwork in multidisciplinary scientific team
- Sample preparation for FISH, immunohistochemistry, or fluorescence microscopy
- Data analysis of microscopy data
- Identifying use cases for microscopy experiments
- Commercial acumen and capital equipment sales process understanding
- Verbal and written scientific communication
- Presentation skills
- PhD in life sciences
- Data science algorithms for image analysis
- Super resolution microscopy for biological research
- CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- Sample preparation for super-resolution microscopy
- At least 2 years in commercial FAS role
- At least 2 years in laboratory and related disciplines preferred
Tasks
- Provide pre-, peri-, and post-sales technical support
- Demonstrate ONI’s technology suite to potential customers
- Troubleshoot customer questions and issues
- Engage proactively with customers
- Collect feedback for product development
- Support operations and communications
- Align shipments and diagnose technical issues
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on instrumentation
- Deliver high-quality customer experience
- Maintain cutting-edge imaging method expertise
- Engage with the scientific community
- Answer technical questions
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations at events
- Work closely with the Sales team
- Understand sales funnel status and details
- Provide scientific insights during pitches and meetings
- Design and conduct experiments at customer sites
- Conduct experiments in ONI’s laboratory
- Assist customers in product setup and operation
- Conduct remote and on-site training sessions
- Provide ongoing hands-on support
- Serve as primary point of contact for technical inquiries
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Facilitate packing and shipping of components
- Coordinate shipments with global logistics team
- Liaise with external and internal customers
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Document demonstration outcomes and technical issues
- Generate regular reports on customer feedback
- Report on product performance and customer success metrics
