Requirements
- University degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 4 years payroll processing experience in multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- French native language skills
- English fluency (C1 level)
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Workday
- Proficiency in various HR systems
- Knowledge of PeopleNet Cegid tool
- Good Excel skills
- Knowledge of Metallurgy Convention
- Knowledge of labour law
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Tasks
- Manage the outsourced payroll process for France
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain proper payroll records
- Keep global and local policies up to date
- Integrate policies into the payroll process
- Collaborate with local HRBPs on daily tasks
- Support projects with the central HR resource center
- Ensure timely payment of salaries
- Ensure timely payment of taxes
- Ensure timely payment of social security contributions
- Respond to employee inquiries
- Escalate employee questions and concerns
- Serve as a backup during absences
