Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in technical coordination of aerospace or spacecraft projects
  • •Experience in design processes, including concept development, trade studies, testing, and optimization
  • •Experience in developing and leading component testing campaigns
  • •Experience with 3D modeling software
  • •Previous experience with ECLSS systems preferred
  • •Experience with ECSS and NASA standards is a plus
  • •Familiarity with tools like GitHub and Python is a plus
  • •Fluency in English required
  • •Ability to effectively utilize oral and written communication
  • •Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • •Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • •Strong organizing and prioritization of tasks
  • •Positive and flexible attitude
  • •Demonstrates behaviors consistent with core values of Vision, Competence, Integrity, and Passion
  • •Ability to speak German, French, and/or Italian is an asset

Tasks

  • •Collaborate with the ECLSS Principal Engineer and team members
  • •Lead the development of ECLSS components from concept to Flight Hardware delivery
  • •Oversee development, qualification, and acceptance testing for components and systems
  • •Develop and validate analytical models to predict system behavior
  • •Conduct component trade studies and provide performance, cost, schedule, and risk recommendations
  • •Support technical exchanges with hardware suppliers
  • •Create detailed engineering documentation, including design reviews and test plans
