- •Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline, or bachelor's degree with substantial relevant experience
- •Hands-on experience developing hardware from concept to working prototypes
- •Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design
- •Good understanding of industry standard and emerging manufacturing methods and constraints
- •Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software and drafting
- •Experience writing software/scripts in languages like Python
- •Ability to infer system-level implications of component design choices
- •Proficient in conducting thermomechanical analysis
- •Relevant experience with cryogenic fluids
- •Strong ability to work in close collaboration with others
- •Strong oral and written communication skills
- •Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- •Strong research skills and ability to infer useful information from partial or contradictory sources
- •Drive towards excellence and ability to work within time constraints
- •Proficiency in organization and prioritization of tasks
- •Fluency in English
- •Strong understanding of liquid-propellant rocket engines as a system (optional)

- •Design and develop cryogenic valves

- •Lead test campaigns and analyze results for design improvements
