Requirements
- Studies in health economics, medicine, pharmacy, or comparable qualification
- 5+ years of experience in market access in Germany, ideally in oncology or vaccine development
- Profound knowledge of AMNOG processes, GKV structures, EBM/DRG systems, and pricing mechanisms
- Leadership experience with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholder management
- Knowledge in RWE generation and health economic models (plus)
- Strong communication, negotiation expertise, and strategic thinking
- Analytical competence, structured working methods, and clear communication of complex issues
- Confident demeanor interacting with authorities, insurers, medical societies, and internal decision-makers
Tasks
- Develop and implement market access strategy for German portfolio
- Manage AMNOG processes, including dossier preparation and benefit assessments
- Lead negotiation preparation and execution for pricing strategies
- Ensure long-term price positioning within statutory health insurance system
- Secure reimbursement through relevant mechanisms and processes
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of EBM and DRG coding
- Evaluate new procedures, billing pathways, and remuneration logics
- Collaborate with KVs, health insurance funds, and other stakeholders
- Work closely with Governmental Affairs for policy briefings and strategic positioning
- Participate in committees and meetings with political stakeholders
- Lead and develop interdisciplinary market access team
- Coordinate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Governmental Affairs
- Promote data-driven and collaborative work culture
- Assess and utilize RWE studies based on health insurance data
- Incorporate health economic models to support pricing and reimbursement
- Identify evidence gaps and input into evidence generation plans
- Initiate corresponding study programs
