Requirements
- Proven experience in customer insight, user research, product discovery, or similar hands-on role
- Strong ability to engage with customers and build trust
- Experience translating customer research into actionable insights
- Comfort working with Product Managers and designers in agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to synthesize qualitative feedback into clear themes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple feedback streams
- Fluent German and English
- Experience running customer councils, advisory boards, or early adopter programs
- Background in UX research, service design, or human-centered design
- Familiarity with SaaS or enterprise software products
- Experience with usage data, analytics, or adoption metrics
- Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, or asset lifecycle management software
Tasks
- Ensure products reflect customer needs and deliver user value.
- Act as the customer voice within Product and Engineering.
- Ground product decisions in evidence, insight, and feedback.
- Understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Influence product direction, UX decisions, and delivery priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and UI/UX team.
- Collect, synthesize, and communicate customer insights.
- Engage with customers to understand needs, workflows, and pain points.
- Plan and conduct customer research with Product Managers.
- Translate customer insights for Product Managers and UX designers.
- Validate assumptions and ground product decisions in user evidence.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape problem statements, priorities, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with UI/UX on user journeys, interaction design, and usability.
- Ensure early consideration of customer feedback in discovery.
- Support Product Managers with insight-backed narratives for trade-offs and prioritization.
- Manage customer councils, advisory boards, and early adopter programs.
- Recruit, engage, and maintain relationships with representative customers and user groups.
- Define objectives, formats, and cadences for customer councils.
- Capture, synthesize, and integrate feedback into product and UX.
- Communicate outcomes and demonstrate impact of input to participants.
- Monitor customer adoption and usage of new features.
- Partner with Product, UX, and Services to identify adoption issues and usability gaps.
- Integrate adoption insights into product improvement and roadmap.
- Define success metrics for user value, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to incorporate instrumentation.
- Establish processes for capturing, storing, and sharing insights.
- Improve visibility of customer needs and feedback.
- Promote customer-centricity and evidence-based decisions.
- Advocate for continuous product discovery.
