Requirements
- •3–5 years designing cryogenic systems, vacuum setups, or gas-handling equipment
- •MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- •Proficiency in CAD, thermal/cryogenic simulation, and vacuum technology
- •Familiarity with hydrogen systems, pressure control, leak detection, and gas safety protocols
- •Skilled in instrumentation, sensors, and control logic for temperature, pressure, and flow
- •Strong hands-on skills in building test rigs, debugging systems, and performing low-temperature measurements
- •Comfortable working across disciplines and coordinating with multiple engineering and science teams

- •Develop and build cryogenic and vacuum systems
- •Model thermal behavior using CAD and simulation tools
- •Ensure cooling performance and optimize system design
- •Continuously improve experimental setups for low-temperature material assessment
- •Develop safe gas handling procedures for hydrogen
- •Implement measurement, control, and automation systems for cryogenic processes
- •Collaborate with Targetry sub-teams to define system requirements
- •Lead project workstreams from concept to commissioning
- •Mentor junior engineers and manage project timelines
