- •Master's degree, PhD in optics, or equivalent education and experience
- •Understanding of laser physics and engineering in high-energy and high-power systems
- •Knowledge of designing, building, and testing laser systems
- •Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- •Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
- •Experience in developing, modeling, designing, analyzing, constructing, and characterizing laser systems

- •Assist in conducting research for high-energy laser systems
- •Support the design and analysis of laser systems and sub-systems
- •Construct laser systems and perform detailed characterization
- •Contribute to transitioning prototypes to industry-grade systems
- •Develop systems using flash-lamp and diode pumping methods
- •Design and optimize low-energy to multi-kilojoule laser systems
- •Enhance laser outputs through advanced amplification techniques
- •Utilize nonlinear optical processes for light amplification
- •Develop systems for converting laser frequencies
- •Implement thermal management strategies for high power laser systems
