Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, life sciences, Risk Management or Legal
- Strong business acumen and understanding of pharmaceutical compliance frameworks
- Proven compliance, risk management, and control process experience
- Skilled in risk management, process improvement, and project management
- Ability to manage multiple cross-departmental projects
- Impactful communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective in a highly matrixed organization
- Superior listening skills and analytical ability
- Creative problem-solving abilities and strategic mindset
- Ability to embrace technology, drive efficiencies, and leverage AI/data analytics
- High degree of self-reliance, accountability, and consultation skills
- Value-added consultation/support to senior business managers
- Maintains credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and trust
Tasks
- Report to VP Compliance Officer Europe
- Partner with General Manager and senior leaders
- Enable sustainable and compliant business growth
- Influence behaviors and drive accountability
- Foster a compliance culture
- Provide compliance and risk management advice
- Mobilize around GSK Compliance pillars: Predict, Protect, Enable
- Act as member of Europe Compliance Leadership Team
- Act as member of Germany Leadership Team
- Implement compliance program to prevent violations
- Embed enterprise risk mitigation programs
- Proactively identify and manage risks
- Ensure deployment of corporate policies
- Facilitate Germany Risk Management and Compliance Board
- Promote effective risk management plans
- Integrate themes from investigations, monitoring, and auditing
- Manage internal reporting and escalation of issues
- Partner with Corporate Investigations Team, HR, and Legal
- Ensure thorough investigation of reported concerns
- Implement global compliance programs locally
- Translate global requirements into local specifications
- Advise on risk associated with emerging strategies
- Provide advisory services on GSK Policies and SOPs
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place
- Monitor and use Key Risk Indicators and Risk Insights
- Support closure of local CAPAs
- Simplify practices while maintaining policy adherence
