Client Service Associate(m/w/x)
Managing post-sales client relationships and supporting Relationship Managers for a global investment firm. German and English fluency, plus MS Office proficiency required. Retirement investment and education reimbursement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in client service, fund administration, custodial services, operations, sales, investment consulting, portfolio management support, or similar fields
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, law, economics, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in German and English, strong oral and written communication
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, efficient multi-program management
- Meeting deadlines and working independently on routine client projects
- Interest in financial services/investment industry, commitment to continuous learning
- Self-motivated, ability to recognize when to escalate issues, collaborative teamwork, taking on additional responsibilities
- Ability to evaluate process inefficiencies, identify and implement operational improvements, resolve issues, innovative problem-solving, quick and creative thinking
- Ability to navigate large organization, effective cross-departmental collaboration, coordination skills, project management experience
Tasks
- Manage post-sales client relationships
- Support Relationship Managers and clients
- Handle client queries and delegate tasks
- Monitor progress and ensure timely, high-quality responses
- Understand and articulate client needs
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party providers
- Review and improve service performance
- Aim for high client satisfaction survey results
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Service Managers
- Ensure seamless client service and clear communication
- Manage client complaints effectively
- Follow internal procedures for complaint resolution
- Coordinate client onboarding and change activities
- Ensure adherence to agreed service processes
- Diagnose complex client service issues
- Identify and resolve service deficiencies
- Work with internal and external teams for timely responses
- Drive continuous service improvement
- Contribute to project initiatives
- Enhance service effectiveness and efficiency
- Apply thought leadership to projects and client relationships
- Lead on projects representing clients and the team
- Resolve operational client issues
- Escalate complex matters to internal partners
- Support senior team members initially
- Take responsibility for assigned clients
