Battle Ground Intelligence Planner - Ukraine SME(m/w/x)
In this role, you will actively support the SAG-U by coordinating meetings with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, preparing essential correspondence, and conducting feasibility reviews. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include translating interactions and delivering insightful reports that contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a US Accredited College or University
- Minimum of four years’ experience working for the US Armed Forces in a deployed combat environment
- Experience working with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) or a Ukrainian government or academic institution
- Comprehensive understanding of US Joint military organizational structure, military equipment, operations, orders, and principles
- Understanding of Advisory tactics and strategies, drone warfare, collection capabilities, AFU strategy and tactics, Unmanned Systems strategy, and UKR AFU logistics and medical capabilities
- Knowledge of equipment and arms donated by the US, NATO, and other partner nations employed by the AFU
- Willingness to work overtime and deploy to austere or hostile environments on short notice
- Proficiency in the Ukrainian language equivalent to the Ukrainian HEADSTART 2 module from the Defense Language Institute or higher
- TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
Tasks
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with AFU personnel
- Assist in preparing correspondence, including invitation letters and emails
- Arrange meeting logistics for engagements
- Help conduct feasibility reviews and simulations of SAG-U strategies
- Identify problems and risks in SAG-U planning
- Provide translation services for interactions with Ukrainian personnel
- Deliver written reports and observations from interactions
- Prepare observation summaries, analysis reports, and presentations
