- Cut and strip wire and insulate connections
- Assemble switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes
- Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance services
- Perform scheduled and special aircraft inspections
- Diagnose systems using special tools and test equipment
- Maintain tools and aircraft ground support equipment
- Apply knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and part replacement
- Utilize technical publications and Logistics Information Systems
- Prioritize workloads to meet project schedules
- Lead teams through complex aircraft maintenance tasks
- Participate in maintenance test flights and operational checks
