Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
  • Minimum 3 years Analysis and Assessment experience
  • Prior experience working with foreign partners
  • Master's degree or higher in relevant discipline
  • Active Top Secret with SCI clearance
  • Experience working with USG interagency departments
  • Experience working with and presenting in formal settings
  • Experience working at Combatant Command and with joint doctrine
  • Experience with DoD security cooperation planning

Tasks

  • Conduct analysis, assessments, and monitoring for USAFRICOM Country Plans
  • Support USAFRICOM exercise planning and strategic efforts
  • Contribute to regional and campaign assessments
  • Perform annual joint assessments for USAFRICOM
  • Support analysis across operations, security cooperation, engagements, and exercises
  • Collaborate on theories of change and measurement indicators
  • Develop monitoring plans with colleagues
  • Work with USAFRICOM staff, OSD/Joint Staff, Allies, and Partners
  • Engage with key interagency stakeholders
  • Apply USAFRICOM assessment and analysis guidance
  • Use USAFRICOM templates and frameworks
  • Identify needs and gaps in partner nation capacity
  • Incorporate data-centric methodologies into assessments
  • Support Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning Teams
