Conducting country plan assessments and exercise planning for USAFRICOM. Active Secret clearance and 3+ years of analysis experience required. Flexible time off, extensive learning resources.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years Analysis and Assessment experience
- Prior experience working with foreign partners
- Master's degree or higher in relevant discipline
- Active Top Secret with SCI clearance
- Experience working with USG interagency departments
- Experience working with and presenting in formal settings
- Experience working at Combatant Command and with joint doctrine
- Experience with DoD security cooperation planning
Tasks
- Conduct analysis, assessments, and monitoring for USAFRICOM Country Plans
- Support USAFRICOM exercise planning and strategic efforts
- Contribute to regional and campaign assessments
- Perform annual joint assessments for USAFRICOM
- Support analysis across operations, security cooperation, engagements, and exercises
- Collaborate on theories of change and measurement indicators
- Develop monitoring plans with colleagues
- Work with USAFRICOM staff, OSD/Joint Staff, Allies, and Partners
- Engage with key interagency stakeholders
- Apply USAFRICOM assessment and analysis guidance
- Use USAFRICOM templates and frameworks
- Identify needs and gaps in partner nation capacity
- Incorporate data-centric methodologies into assessments
- Support Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning Teams
