Tasks
- Shape and develop complex commercial projects
- Focus on data center and power-intensive infrastructure
- Manage a pipeline and portfolio of site opportunities
- Identify and prioritize suitable sites and projects
- Match customer requirements with RWE’s asset portfolio
- Lead opportunities through structured development phases
- Secure partnership agreements and investment readiness
- Integrate asset development and commodity solutions
- Incorporate grid business and engineering expertise
- Leverage conventional, flexible, and renewable generation
- Structure projects involving industrial land and power infrastructure
- Negotiate long-term commercial supply agreements
- Drive project development end-to-end
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and workstreams
- Manage integrated project schedules
- Prepare internal decision-making materials
- Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility
- Assess market and regulatory feasibility for bundled services
- Ensure early pre-development activities and project prioritization
- Launch project development to reduce time-to-market
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analyses
- Align customer needs with RWE’s infrastructure capabilities
- Design and execute due diligence processes
- Drive competitive tender processes
- Enable customer co-creation partnerships for site-specific solutions
- Build relationships with data center operators and hyperscalers
- Engage with technical partners, landowners, and authorities
- Liaise with municipalities and grid companies
- Scout sites with internal real estate and legal teams
- Collaborate with procurement and grid contract management
- Report on portfolio development and project progress
- Update senior management on risks and market trends
