Requirements

  • Experience as a solution/sales engineer in Commerce or related technology fields, or Salesforce technology
  • Strong passion for commerce solutions and technology
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and adaptable attitude
  • Customer-centric attitude with empathy for customer needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Understanding of the e-commerce vendor landscape
  • Understanding of system architecture and backend integration scenarios for E-Commerce
  • Additional experience with Salesforce B2B / B2C Commerce, OMS, and DTC offerings is a plus
  • Experience in e-commerce industries like Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, DTC
  • Expertise in commerce, web analytics, content management systems, inbound marketing, marketplaces, order management, product information management
  • Affinity with HTML, CSS, API, and frontend web development
  • Familiarity with web technologies including React, Next.js, Vue.js, Node.js
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
  • Experience orchestrating a sales cycle with multiple resources
  • Experience in presenting and hosting webinars or public speaking

Tasks

  • Develop expertise in Commerce Cloud solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product developments
  • Build relationships with sales, SE, and marketing teams
  • Engage directly with customers from discovery to presentations
  • Provide technical expertise during the sales process
  • Collaborate with SEs and AEs on customer accounts
  • Map customer goals to Salesforce product offerings
  • Present Commerce technology with confidence
  • Lead technical discussions with various stakeholders
  • Collaborate globally to solve technical challenges
  • Participate in product training and certifications
  • Run live customer sessions to share solution knowledge
  • Conduct internal enablement sessions for AEs and SEs
  • Create reusable assets like demo environments and videos
