- Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years in Shipping roles
- Fluency in English, French, and German; Italian is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of logistics, packing, and transportation methods

- Comfortable speaking with clients and client-facing teams
- Excellent client service skills, calm under pressure
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong organizational skills, priority setting, multitasking
- Prior fine art shipping experience desirable
- Prior SAP experience is an advantage
- Flexibility for overtime and weekend hours when necessary
Tasks
- Provide integrated logistics expertise and exceptional service
- Liaise with vendors to procure and coordinate logistics services
- Arrange shipping and associated logistics requirements
- Work closely with Pre Sale and Post Sale colleagues
- Monitor and execute quote requests timely
- Resolve shipping and logistics inquiries and issues
- Obtain quotes from shippers and service providers
- Assess and verify shipment requirements
- Enter or validate shipment information in the system
- Apply for CITES and other applicable licenses
- Contact vendors for packing, transportation, and security
- Allocate tariffs for international imports and exports
- Monitor shipment progress and troubleshoot issues
- Liaise with Manager on shippers’ performance and KPIs
- Ship in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Determine and arrange consolidated shipments
- Maintain and scan required shipment documentation
- Prepare and submit customs documents
- Coordinate and execute interoffice transfers
- Generate pre-alerts for international offices
