- •Align regional and corporate UNHCR positions
- •Support the regionalization process with stakeholders
- •Maintain contacts with high-level mission officials
- •Address queries from Permanent Missions
- •Direct mission requests to appropriate entities
- •Share member state concerns across the organization
- •Facilitate humanitarian engagement with external stakeholders
- •Update missions on UNHCR engagements and events
- •Coordinate high-level visits of senior officials
- •Support the Executive Office with visiting delegations
- •Represent the Regional Bureau at HQ meetings
- •Organize Bureau Director visits and stakeholder meetings
- •Engage in humanitarian diplomacy with New York teams
- •Liaise with regional bodies on policy implementation
- •Advocate for refugee inclusion in development initiatives
- •Facilitate regional coordination platforms and events
- •Lead strategic communications and advocacy efforts
- •Monitor and advise on regional emergency trends
