Requirements
- 5-8+ years progressive HR experience (operations, generalist, HRBP) in DACH
- Strong knowledge of payroll coordination, HR compliance, and EMEA labor laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence without direct reports
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus
- Payroll Specialist degree is a big plus
- Self-directed and proactive; ability to navigate ambiguity and support global initiatives
Tasks
- Coordinate payroll with external providers in Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Own and improve core HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, employee data, documentation, compliance)
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across HR systems
- Manage and optimize HR policies, procedures, and workflows
- Support global HR initiatives and drive consistency
- Collaborate with the HR team for continuous improvement
- Act as the primary HR contact for the local CH office and DACH region
- Manage day-to-day HR operations
- Shape employee engagement, workplace experience, and culture
- Provide high-quality HR support to employees and managers
- Coach local managers on performance, feedback, and employee development
- Manage employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism
- Build and maintain positive relationships across all levels of the organization
- Support change management and communication efforts
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and HR practices in DACH
- Act as a point of contact for HR compliance and audits
- Stay updated on local labor laws and HR processes (leave policies, terminations, pensions, reference letters)
- Ensure HR processes align with local legal requirements and global standards
