Requirements
- •Strong experience in C++ software development
- •Proficiency with CMake, Git, and continuous integration tools
- •Familiarity with Linux-based development and containerised environments
- •Experience with open-source robotics software
- •Experience with robotic simulation tools and environments
- •Good understanding of robotics concepts
- •Strong collaboration and communication skills
- •Experience with Python or MATLAB for testing or analysis
- •Knowledge of simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or real-time systems
- •Experience with AI/ML tools
- •Spoken and written English or French
- •Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- •Master's degree with 2 to 6 years or PhD with no more than 3 years of experience
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract

- •Implement and maintain control software for robotic platforms
- •Manage build systems and dependencies using CMake and modern C++ standards
- •Utilize version control systems like Git/GitLab

- •Integrate open-source robotics libraries such as OpenCV and Eigen
- •Develop simulation tools for robotic kinematics and dynamics
- •Collaborate with teams to define software interfaces between subsystems
- •Participate in software design and code reviews
- •Document processes to ensure maintainability and consistency
- •Support deployment, testing, and debugging of robotic software
