Requirements
- Master's program graduation within last year or enrolled PhD/medical degree program
- Culturing complex cell models/organoids
- In vitro electrophysiology
- In vitro live cell techniques/assays
- Familiarity with advanced image analysis software
- Basic molecular biology techniques
- Proficiency in statistical software for biological data analysis
- Strong interest in expanding muscle biology skills
- Non-EU/EFTA citizens: PhD/medical degree, mandatory industry internship certificate
Tasks
- Maintain 2D and 3D tissue cultures
- Plan and design pharmacological assays
- Perform and analyze small molecule treatments
- Assess reporter expression and cellular bioenergetics
- Conduct 3D twitch and tetanic force assessments
- Record live imaging and contractility of 3D organoids
- Work closely with a team of scientists and students
- Coordinate with internal core facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Maintain detailed electronic lab notebook
- Present research findings at internal meetings
- Summarize work and draft scientific manuscript
