Requirements
- •Proven experience in building and managing a presales team
- •Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, Database technologies, or Data Science
- •Proven experience in driving strategic planning and forecasting sales trends
- •Ability to partner and collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders
- •Success in instituting processes for efficiency and data-driven innovation
- •Passion for data, AI market, and Cloud software models
- •Executive presence and strong communication skills
- •Highly preferred languages: German and French; English is a must
Work Experience
approx. 4 - 6 years
Tasks
- •Hire, coach, and develop the pre-sales team in Switzerland and Austria for Strategic Accounts
- •Foster a motivated and collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team
- •Support increased ROI from Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles
- •Ensure solution and value-based selling within the field engineering organization
- •Understand needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
- •Engage with key customer executives to build and strengthen strategic partnerships
- •Align closely with partners and internal services to secure implementation strategies
- •Promote Databricks' brand as a member of the Leadership team in partnership with Marketing and Sales teams
