Knowledge Transfer Officer(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Professional experience or strong academic exposure to technology transfer, license management, research/innovation management, or funding programme management
- Experience with administrative and financial project management
- Experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
- Strong motivation for science, technology, and industry interface
- Knowledge and experience in electronics and/or software technologies (advantageous)
- Ability to grasp essential information about complex technologies and their applicability
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines autonomously
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in standard office and data management tools
- Experience in programme or project management (asset)
- Experience with IP and CRM tools for innovation management or knowledge transfer (asset)
- Spoken and written English
- Commitment to learn French
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Professional background in Business, Administration or STEM
- Master's degree with 2 to 6 years post-graduation professional experience
- PhD with no more than 3 years post-graduation professional experience
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
Tasks
- Seek and realize technology application opportunities
- Manage internal seed funding programme
- Process licensing requests for software and electronics
- Optimize and implement new IP and CRM procedures
- Manage Medical Applications Budget lifecycle
- Manage KT Fund lifecycle
- Define and monitor KPIs for funding programmes
- Act as Scientific Secretary for Medical Applications Forum
- Plan and organize project meetings and reviews
- Manage portfolio of KT partnerships
- Identify and prepare KT partnership contracts
- Monitor licensing portfolio performance
- Maintain electronic records
- Contribute to performance reporting
- Interface with internal and external partners
- Analyse and optimize business processes
