Description

You manage financial closing activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards while supervising junior staff. Your responsibilities include preparing financial statements, overseeing audits, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• •4 to 5 years of experience in accounting
• •Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting
• •IFRS knowledge is highly advantageous
• •Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
• •Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively
• •Strong ability to prioritize tasks

Tasks

• •Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
• •Ensure accurate and timely financial recording and reporting.
• •Prepare statutory financial statements per Swiss GAAP.
• •Ensure compliance with standards and internal controls.
• •Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
• •Manage relationships with client auditors.
• •Supervise and train junior team members.
• •Support junior members with vendor invoice processing.
• •Assist in implementing new accounting policies and guidelines.
• •Identify and implement process improvements.
• •Safeguard operations and protect financial information.
• •Conduct variance analysis.
• •Lead client meetings and maintain communication.
