Requirements

  • •Experience in low voltage distribution design
  • •Experience with low voltage calculation tools
  • •Secondary design experience with E-PLAN
  • •Medium voltage distribution network design experience
  • •Knowledge of LV standards and protection
  • •Understanding of power systems and dimensioning
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
  • •Lighting system design using DIALux
  • •English or French language skills
  • •National of CERN Member State
  • •Background in Electrical Engineering or related
  • •No previous CERN graduate contract
  • •Willingness to work in Radiation Areas
  • •Interventions in underground installations
  • •Valid driving licence

Tasks

  • •Design electrical distribution circuits
  • •Prepare calculation notes and lighting studies
  • •Conduct detailed earthing studies
  • •Create design drawings for single-line diagrams
  • •Prepare bills of material for electrical equipment
  • •Support low voltage network renovation projects
  • •Upgrade the computer center UPS network
  • •Perform equipment sizing and protection studies
