Requirements
- •Experience in mechanical engineering and design
- •Experience in mechatronics systems testing
- •Experience in structure modal analysis
- •Team-oriented attitude and effective collaboration
- •Excellent verbal and written communication
- •CAD software skills, preferably CATIA V5
- •FEM analysis skills, preferably ANSYS
- •English proficiency and French learning commitment
- •National of CERN Member State
- •Background in Mechanics or Mechatronics
- •Master's degree or PhD qualification
- •No previous CERN graduate contract
- •Valid driving licence

- •Gather design requirements and functional specifications
- •Design mechanical support and alignment solutions
- •Analyze vibration and frequency-domain stability
- •Integrate solutions into accelerator models
- •Align interfaces with system-level constraints
- •Estimate costs for proposed engineering solutions
- •Oversee prototype manufacturing and assembly
- •Manage prototype qualification with other teams
- •Prepare technical reports and engineering notes
- •Present calculations and technical findings
- •Supervise and lead the project team
