Requirements
- 5+ years experience in EHS risk, exposure, and hazard control
- Proficiency in EHS design reviews, new equipment safety, facility integration
- In-depth knowledge of ISO Standards and Swiss Health & Safety legislation
- Degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Biology), Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
- Health and Safety Diploma recognized in Switzerland (Chargé de Sécurité CFST, Ingénieur sécurité CFST, spécialiste STPS, expert STPS)
- Environmental qualification recognized in Switzerland is an asset
Tasks
- Support EHS management system implementation
- Deploy Vevey EHS strategy
- Mitigate risks and develop EHS culture
- Ensure compliance with company standards and Swiss EHS regulations
- Contribute to environmental and sustainability topics
- Coordinate with site stakeholders
- Serve as EHS expert and SME for Occupational Hygiene
- Support key EHS programs for compliance
- Conduct workplace risk assessments
- Implement risk mitigation and continuous improvement
- Investigate incidents
- Foster EHS culture
- Conduct EHS audits
- Provide EHS training
- Communicate EHS information
- Monitor EHS performance
- Develop and implement Occupational Hygiene programs
- Oversee other assigned EHS disciplines
- Collaborate with site SMEs and owners
