Requirements
- Advanced university degree in public health, epidemiology, or infectious diseases
- Medical degree or specialized post-graduate qualification in the disease's area
- Experience with national programs in developing countries
- Experience in HIV at national and international levels
- Understanding of international health arena and exposure to health environments
- Experience in providing technical advice and collaboration with stakeholders
- 4-6 years of experience in HIV prevention, treatment, care and support
- Knowledge of Global Fund policies and governance structure
- Good publications record in analyzing datasets and public health interventions
- Excellent knowledge of English and good working knowledge of French
- Mastery level in Global Public Health
- Mastery level in Country Context
- Mastery level in Business
- Mastery level in Geopolitical Awareness

Tasks
- Advise Country Teams on strategic investments for HIV programming
- Collaborate with Senior Advisors and technical teams throughout the grant lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for reprogramming existing grants
- Coordinate with RSSH and CRG teams to enhance health systems capacity
- Advise on procurement and supply planning for HIV health products
- Analyze and interpret HIV programmatic and epidemiologic data
- Provide input into Global Fund HIV policies and guidelines
- Support training and capacity building for new public health approaches
- Strengthen Global Fund partnerships through various mechanisms
- Facilitate partner engagement during concept note development
- Contribute to Global Fund reports and advocacy materials
- Perform additional duties as required
