Tasks
- Lead the Country Medical Affairs strategic plan execution
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and laws
- Provide expertise on drug safety and medical topics
- Contribute to the country budget and OPEX delivery
- Develop and follow the Medical Affairs strategic plan
- Coach and engage with the medical affairs team
- Establish and maintain scientific interactions with opinion leaders
- Update the country opinion leaders list biannually
- Drive discussions to integrate scientific data in clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with local experts on data generation activities
- Assist with pipeline activities and clinical trial site selection
- Work on Gilead Phase IV program with investigators and internal personnel
- Develop and execute medical engagement plans for scientific conferences
- Engage healthcare providers in scientific interactions
- Respond to medical information inquiries on Gilead products
- Generate and communicate insights from field interactions
- Assist with compassionate use or early access requests
- Represent the company at local and international scientific meetings
- Oversee the development and execution of the medical plan of action
- Monitor the medical affairs team's performance
- Coach and support team development
- Review and approve medical content of Gilead events and materials
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Gilead personnel
- Participate in regional and global medical meetings
- Participate in required training initiatives
- Support local clinical data development through trials and research
- Provide scientific input in HTA dossiers and payer negotiations
- Design and implement Gilead medical education events
- Analyze and interpret trial data for marketing and sales
