Requirements
- 10-15 years external experience in consultative sales
- Ability to manage C-level and senior level relationships
- Strong intellect and drive
- Proven experience building client relationships
- Ability to structure innovative solutions for IT decision support
- Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers
- Extensive industry knowledge specific to vertical markets
- Strong computer proficiency
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to conduct effective presentations with decision makers
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
- Fluent level of German
- Bachelor's degree with evidence of success
- Master's or advanced degree a plus
Tasks
- Manage client accounts to enhance satisfaction and retention
- Drive account growth through contract expansion and new product introductions
- Achieve a quota of over $1,500,000 in contract value within your territory
- Execute Gartner’s sales methodology consistently
- Plan accounts and manage territory effectively
- Maintain accurate forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Stay informed about competitive offerings
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services
- Consult with C-level executives to create and implement enterprise-wide strategies
