Requirements
- 15+ years of experience
- Track record of success in quota-bearing consultative selling
- Proven experience developing trust-based relationships with C-Level clients
- Proficiency in global account planning and territory management
- Strong intellect, drive, influencing skills, and collaboration
- Ability to structure innovative solutions for IT decision support
- Understanding of technology buying centers and procurement processes
- Extensive industry knowledge specific to vertical markets
- Strong presentation skills and business application proficiency
- German language is a plus
- Proficiency in navigating full lifecycle of sales process
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree desired
Tasks
- Develop trust-based relationships with senior technology leaders
- Understand client business strategies and goals
- Identify opportunities to maximize client value
- Serve as a trusted advisor across client locations
- Lead account and territory strategy for growth and retention
- Create account solutions and license architectures
- Coordinate account planning with internal partners
- Implement prospecting strategies and drive execution
- Manage accounts to enhance customer engagement and retention
- Achieve sales quota for a multinational account
- Master Gartner sales methodology and products
- Execute Gartner’s best practices consistently
- Forecast sales accurately on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Maintain competitive knowledge and focus
