In this role, you will drive business growth by identifying and nurturing opportunities for drug delivery devices in Europe. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging with customers, managing the sales process, and collaborating with internal teams to secure development agreements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, med-tech, or drug delivery device industry
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
  • Sales management skills with CRM systems
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, med-tech, or drug delivery device industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in tender and contract management
  • Understanding of device development processes and ISO standards
  • Business networking skills
  • Understanding of technical aspects of medical technology products
  • German or Mandarin language skills are a plus

Tasks

  • Identify growth opportunities for drug delivery devices
  • Follow up on new inbound leads
  • Convert leads into development opportunities
  • Coordinate each stage of the sales process
  • Leverage internal resources for business development
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Act as the point of contact for customers until agreements are signed
  • Generate and nurture leads with existing and prospective customers
  • Develop opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products
  • Understand customers' technical and commercial needs
  • Expand the network and influence key stakeholders
  • Complete project intake documentation
  • Develop and present pitches, quotations, and proposals
  • Coordinate with internal resources and subject-matter experts
  • Advise customers during their decision-making process
  • Provide input for development agreements and support negotiations
  • Work with Pricing and Analytics for competitive offers
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences
  • Communicate SHL's differentiators to create interest
  • Secure signed agreements and hand over accounts to Account Management
