Tasks

  • Model HTS cables and coils using electromagnetic and multi-physics finite-element methods
  • Investigate the effects of twist and transposition on HTS conductors
  • Characterize HTS cables and coils at cryogenic temperatures
  • Perform cabling of HTS conductors and winding of HTS coils
  • Optimize HTS cable and coil designs using experimental results
  • Analyze and document results in technical reports
  • Present findings in technical meetings
