Director, Specialist Sales SME(m/w/x)

In this role, you will lead the charge in driving SME product evolution in the DACH region, collaborating with financial institutions and FinTechs to create impactful market strategies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing cross-functional teams, prioritizing sales actions, and ensuring successful product launches that resonate with customers.

Anforderungen
- •Experience in payments, banking, fintech, or adjacent B2B services
- •Account management and consultative selling proficiency
- •Strategy and consulting exposure with project leadership
- •Depth in issuing and acquiring, virtual cards, acceptance, receivables/payables, and SME SaaS/embedded finance models
- •Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- •Master’s/MBA preferred; Bachelor’s required
- •Commercial acuity with ability to build quantifiable business cases
- •Builder’s mindset - proactive, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity
- •Data driven - expert in pipeline hygiene and performance analytics
- •Executive presence and negotiation skills

- •Localize the SME/CNPF vision for DACH
- •Drive product evolution with financial institutions, FinTechs, acquirers, and ISVs
- •Develop go-to-market strategies with the CSC, AMs, and BD teams
- •Own market performance through KPIs, dashboards, and pipeline management
- •Enable field teams with clear narratives and business cases
- •Prioritize sales actions based on DACH market relevance
- •Refine positioning and roadmap for key customers and services
- •Accelerate time to market using ecosystem partnerships and co-marketing
- •Share best practices on sales motions and support AMs during RFPs
- •Manage the SME segment for DACH with a robust Salesforce pipeline
- •Engage with issuers, acquirers, Payfacs, ISVs, and platform partners
- •Deliver outcomes aligned with Mastercard objectives
- •Connect cross-functional teams to unblock complex deals
- •Champion post-launch success and monitor operational health
- •Educate and inspire teams and the market on SME solutions
