- Experience in implementing or advising ESG standards, responsible industry practices, or sustainability frameworks (mining/extractive industry desirable)
- Experience in technical cooperation projects in developing countries (Africa, Asia, or Latin America desirable)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluency or working knowledge of another official UN language (desirable)
- Spoken and written knowledge of Finnish or Swedish
- Finnish nationality
Aufgaben
- Manage technical cooperation projects in mining.
- Focus on responsible mining, ASM, and large-scale operations.
- Ensure project quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
- Engage private sector stakeholders for ESG best practices.
- Develop mining worker upskilling and reskilling programs.
- Prepare technical documents on sustainable mining.
- Prepare policy briefs on responsible mining practices.
- Prepare knowledge products on mineral value chains.
- Support advocacy, communication, and global forum activities.
- Engage with media.
- Disseminate project information via UNIDO platforms.
- Contribute to program-specific fundraising.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Represent the Division in the Global Alliance.
- Address Responsible and Green Minerals topics.
