Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in employee and labor relations
- Deep knowledge of employment laws and labor practices across multiple EMEA countries
- Proven success in union negotiations, works council engagement, and managing complex employee relations cases
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage sensitive issues with professionalism
- Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Tasks
- Develop and implement regional employee and labor relations strategies
- Lead complex investigations and grievance procedures
- Manage conflict resolution efforts with discretion
- Collaborate with legal counsel on collective bargaining agreements
- Engage with unions and works councils
- Monitor labor law developments across EMEA
- Ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Coach HR and management on employee relations best practices
- Drive improvements in workplace culture and employee engagement
- Lead crisis response and change management initiatives
- Design training programs on employee relations and compliance
