Description

In this role, you will leverage innovative ideas to enhance data projects, analyze supply chain data, and develop tools that support inventory management. Collaborating with various teams will help integrate predictive models and improve key performance indicators.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• •Advanced proficiency in Python or R for analytics and predictive modeling
• •Strong SQL skills and experience handling large datasets
• •Knowledge of time series, machine learning forecasting, and inventory optimization techniques
• •Familiarity with optimization tools (e.g. Gurobi, SAS)
• •Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex analytics clearly
• •Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset
• •Fluent in English, fluency in German is an advantage

Tasks

• •Design and maintain statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting
• •Analyze large-scale supply chain data for trend detection and anomaly identification
• •Assess improvement opportunities in supply chain processes
• •Develop decision-support tools and dashboards for inventory management
• •Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Category Management for model integration
• •Monitor and improve KPIs like forecast accuracy and stock availability
• •Lead research initiatives on forecasting techniques and optimization models
• •Support automation initiatives and provide user training
• •Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement
