Requirements

  • Studies in physics, mathematics, computer science or related field
  • Experience in python programming and basic experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Foundational understanding of quantum computing and experience with Qiskit or PennyLane
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms or combinatorial optimization
  • Fluent English skills

Tasks

  • Develop reinforcement learning methods for variational quantum eigensolvers
  • Apply machine learning to solve quantum chemistry problems
  • Design and prototype new quantum circuit cutting methods
  • Integrate circuit cutting tools into the software stack
  • Solve optimization problems resulting from circuit design
  • Implement reinforcement learning for quantum error correction codes
  • Benchmark resource-efficient approaches to error correction
