- 8+ years merchandising/planning experience, ideally fashion/luxury/footwear
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Management, Economics, Business, or related
- Proven leadership scaling DTC and wholesale businesses
- Strong analytical mindset with inventory management, forecasting, financial planning expertise
- Experience in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with Excel, tools & planning systems
Tasks
- Oversee global merchandising and buying strategy
- Lead assortment planning and inventory steering
- Make purchasing decisions across commercial channels
- Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain
- Drive commercial decisions for collection creation and selling
- Maintain balance between brand and performance
- Inform product decisions and steer process execution
- Enable sustainable growth and operational excellence
- Define seasonal and long-term merchandising strategies
- Align strategies with brand positioning and growth targets
- Own full product P&L, including margin and inventory
- Define seasonal collection size and structure
- Ensure commercial viability with right price points
- Manage collection creation critical path and timelines
- Lead demand and inventory forecasting
- Manage OTB and buying to drive sales performance
- Mitigate inventory risk for D2C channel
- Manage sell-in and sell-out activities
- Own all markdown activities
- Build 360° inventory and channel management strategy
- Oversee merchandising operations functions
- Manage sample management and product content creation
- Create marketing materials
- Manage cross-functional planning with Marketing
- Lead and develop merchandising team
- Foster high-performance, data-driven culture
- Partner with Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing
- Ensure alignment from concept to campaign rollout
- Support international expansion by tailoring assortments
