- US Citizenship and Security Clearance eligibility
- Valid US Passport
- TESA Approval qualification
- Availability for travel as required
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Supply
- Ability to determine repair or replacement
- Physical ability to climb and bend
- Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally
- Immediate deployability to combat areas
Tasks
- Maintain and inspect UH-60A/L/M systems to FAA standards
- Perform military tactical aircraft maintenance and repairs
- Assemble and modify Army and DoD aircraft systems
- Install and adjust fuel, heat, and lubrication systems
- Align fuselage parts and install tail rotor assemblies
- Rig complete flight control systems
- Incorporate authorized aircraft modifications and changes
- Check hydraulic and fuel systems using ground equipment
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace defective components
- Use precision hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Interpret technical data to determine necessary repairs
- Direct lower-graded mechanics during aircraft assembly
- Coordinate with general mechanics and sheet metal trades
- Prepare official aircraft maintenance forms and records
- Complete additional operational duties as required
