TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative(m/w/x)
In this role, you will be the go-to resource for TRICARE beneficiaries, guiding them through enrollment processes, providing claims assistance, and leading informative sessions. Your day will involve a mix of customer service, data management, and compliance tasks, ensuring beneficiaries receive the support they need.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- SOFA/Command-Sponsored status as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee, or U.S. Contractor
- Eligibility for ADP IT III clearance (Non-Sensitive Position, Tier 1)
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Effectiveness in delivering presentations
- Ability to communicate tactfully with others
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail
- Familiarity with TRICARE Overseas Program, DEERS, DOES, and MHS Genesis
- Work background in U.S. military healthcare delivery or civilian managed care
Tasks
- Process enrollments, disenrollments, and portability transfers
- Update Primary Care Managers following MTF guidelines
- Provide guidance on TRICARE resources and benefits
- Assist beneficiaries with enrollment and claims inquiries
- Offer basic claims status updates and support
- Lead informational briefings for various events
- Collect and record daily activities and OHI information
- Evaluate assistance needs and escalate complex issues
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
- Complete required training courses on time
- Assist with remote support and train new team members
