Requirements

- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Expertise in DoD sensor technologies
- Systems engineering or relevant expertise

- Understanding of military acquisition processes
- Experience in system integration processes
- Experience in stakeholder coordination
- Ability to assess technical risks
- Experience evaluating technical solutions
- Familiarity with Discrepancy Review boards
Tasks
- Coordinate and develop transition plans
- Develop documentation, diagrams, and deployment plans
- Manage testing, SOVTs, and ASI planning
- Handle CRQ planning and execution
- Provide detailed briefings to government leadership
- Develop comprehensive IT transition strategies
- Manage transition schedules and risk mitigation
- Oversee legacy system migration to modernized platforms
- Ensure minimal disruption to command operations
- Collaborate with Joint Staff and external agencies
- Align transition efforts with DoD initiatives
- Communicate objectives and timelines to senior leadership
- Comply with DoD cybersecurity and NIST standards
- Adhere to Risk Management Framework requirements
- Validate security controls during system migrations
- Implement contingency plans for mission-critical systems
- Monitor system performance and maintain operational readiness
- Lead change management and configuration control processes
- Maintain accurate system baselines and transition records
- Develop training materials for end-users and administrators
- Conduct workshops for users and administrators
- Ensure smooth system handoffs to sustainment teams
- Move systems from development to full operations
- Coordinate with testers, operators, and maintainers
- Identify technical, schedule, and cost risks
- Evaluate solutions for technical issues
- Participate in Discrepancy Review boards and working groups
