Cyber Joint Operational Planner(m/w/x)
Developing strategic and operational cyberspace plans using JPP for CCMD. Hands-on Joint Planning Process experience required. Support CCMD planning, exercises, and mission integration.
Requirements
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8-12 years relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Joint Planning Process (JPP)
- Expertise in Functional Mission Analysis
- Experience developing strategic and operational cyberspace plans
- Strong knowledge of DISA and DoD networks
- Experience supporting CCMDs, particularly European theater
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience briefing senior leadership
- Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CASP, CCSP)
- Expertise in IT domains and systems architecture
- Expertise in systems as part of Mission Relevant Terrain-Cyber (MRT-C) analysis
- Knowledge of mission frameworks (UJTLS, METs, PMEFs, mission decomposition)
- Experience mentoring teams
- Fostering strong cybersecurity culture
Tasks
- Lead strategic and operational planning using JPP
- Integrate MRT-C outputs into OPLANS, CONPLANS, Campaign Plans
- Assess and communicate cyber risk to mission
- Support CCMD planning, exercises, mission integration
- Analyze technical, operational data for actionable solutions
- Provide clear, decision-quality recommendations
- Evaluate joint needs statements, define capability requirements
- Identify capability gaps, recommend solutions
- Support enterprise-level planning across systems, infrastructure, applications
- Coordinate with DISA, CCMDs, mission partners
- Brief, advise O5/O6, SES, General/Flag Officers on cyber strategy, mission risk
