Requirements

  • Enrollment in mechanical engineering, CES, simulation sciences, process engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or similar degree program
  • Independent, organized, and structured approach to work
  • Practical experience in CFD simulation (e.g., Ansys Fluent) and CAD design, broad technical interest, and manual dexterity

Education

Currently in higher education

  • Design and build a test rig to measure powder switch performance
  • Model various geometric designs for simulations
  • Perform CFD simulations to identify causal relationships
