Testing & Commissioning Engineer(m/w/x)

Description

As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer, you will validate and test electrical and communication systems to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards. This role involves diagnosing issues, collaborating with teams, and driving process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• •Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics) or equivalent
• •3–5 years of relevant experience in the Rail industry
• •Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• •Solid technical foundation in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and networking domains
• •Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication across functions
• •Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• •Comfortable working in complex environments across multiple sites and multicultural teams

Tasks

• •Understand customer acceptance criteria for projects and products
• •Perform structured handover from manufacturing to commissioning
• •Follow defined test procedures and ensure accurate execution
• •Conduct and document serial test procedures for coverage and traceability
• •Diagnose and repair failures during testing
• •Track, analyze, and document system failures
• •Escalate unresolved issues to the Test Manager
• •Identify and propose improvements to testing and commissioning processes
• •Collaborate with Test Engineering, Industrial Quality, and Manufacturing teams
• •Monitor individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• •Adhere to EHS procedures and policies
• •Report deviations, near-misses, and safety incidents
