As a technical expert, you will bridge the gap between sales and engineering by designing tailored automation solutions and managing the proposal process to ensure project success.

Requirements

• •Experience with automation solutions in process control technology
• •Ideally familiar with ABB control systems like 800xA, AC800M, Freelance, or Melody
• •Practical experience in project development and implementation
• •Fundamental knowledge of automation technology
• •Team-orientation and excellent communication skills
• •Responsibility for customer-oriented and economic project decisions
• •Degree in industrial engineering, automation technology, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
• •Fluency in German and English
• •Willingness to travel occasionally
• •Possession of a driver's license

Tasks

• •Provide technical advice to sales teams and customers
• •Prepare and coordinate accurate, competitive proposals
• •Lead technical clarifications between sales, engineering, and customers
• •Perform detailed analyses to propose optimal automation solutions
• •Tailor technical solutions to specific customer needs
• •Manage offer preparation and internal process alignment
• •Support the transition from sales to project execution
• •Prepare technical descriptions of automation solutions
• •Develop detailed cost estimates for projects
• •Manage final documentation and handover processes
• •Drive order intake, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets
• •Foster strong collaboration with all project stakeholders
