Requirements

  • Degree in technical studies with focus on automation technology, electrical engineering, or degree as technician
  • Professional experience in automation technology (2+ years) with ABB control systems like 800xA, AC800M, Freelance, or Melody
  • Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of specific products and industries
  • Good IT knowledge with Windows operating systems, PC hardware, network technology, and cybersecurity
  • Ability to travel to domestic sites and valid car driving license
  • Collaborative and solution-oriented work style and strong communication skills
  • Fluency in German and good written and spoken English

Tasks

  • Perform installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Identify technical problems through remote or on-site analysis
  • Provide routine maintenance for process control systems
  • Offer on-site or remote technical support for malfunctions
  • Enhance and modernize existing process control systems
  • Consult with customers on optimal service solutions
  • Build strong relationships with customers and address their needs
  • Participate in automation projects from installation to commissioning
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend preventive measures
  • Identify opportunities for new service applications and methods
