Requirements
- 4+ years industry experience in client/professional service, sales engineer, senior support engineer, IT operations management, or senior engineer role with exposure to multiple technology areas
- Data communication concepts and technologies knowledge, specifically email and networking knowledge of Linux, SMTP, and MySQL
- Working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
- Very strong customer service and excellent communication skills, written and oral
- History of successfully leading and directing technical staff through crisis situations
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Project management knowledge and strong time management skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment and independently
- Fluent German speaker
Tasks
- Provide proactive technical leadership and support
- Manage support interactions
- Act as an internal advocate for customers
- Respond to customer escalations
- Proactively escalate issues when needed
- Direct crisis and incident response
- Ensure timely issue resolution
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Meet regularly with clients
- Review support interactions and system status
- Discuss major issues and upcoming releases
- Create executive customer presentations
- Deliver presentations on system performance
- Present potential issues and ROI
- Suggest forward courses of action
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs
- Maintain technical knowledge of integrations
- Develop strategy for customer requirements
- Provide proactive recommendations
- Identify and prioritize goals
- Plan process improvement initiatives
- Improve customer satisfaction
- Plan production changes
- Document production changes
- Identify risks for production changes
