Requirements
- •Engineering degree preferable in electronics, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
- •Strong working knowledge of quality engineering fundamentals, concepts, methods, and tools
- •Strong knowledge of quality system and quality engineering principles in medical device industry
- •Sound fundamentals and knowledge in engineering and physics principles
- •Sound experiential knowledge in problem solving and root cause analysis processes, methods, and tools
- •Sound knowledge in quality engineering statistics, preferable experience with Minitab, Power BI
- •Fundamental skills in Lean and Six Sigma are strongly preferred
- •Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German
- •Strong leadership skills showing ability to influence team members and cross-functional peers
- •Effective communication skills with attention to detail and openness to feedback
- •Good team player with ability to establish contacts and resolve conflicts
- •Pragmatic and result-oriented with ability to prioritize and plan activities
- •Independent and proactive mindset to find opportunities and drive improvements
- •Ability to assert oneself

Tasks
- •Contribute to quality engineering strategy for cardiopulmonary equipment
- •Ensure patient-first mission with innovative approaches and commitment to quality
- •Support manufacturing, supply chain, design controls, and quality system activities
- •Lead and develop a team of quality engineers and technicians
- •Manage daily operations in alignment with medical device regulations
- •Oversee operations quality, design assurance, and manufacturing assurance
- •Engage as a quality engineering business partner to improve product and operations quality
- •Execute problem-solving to address issues in quality processes
- •Manage non-conforming material processes, including risk evaluation and root-cause analysis
- •Implement corrective and preventive actions
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to enhance product performance
- •Ensure effective implementation of the CAPA process
- •Conceptualize and develop testing for qualifications and material inspections
- •Serve as a resource for new generation product projects and manufacturing optimization
- •Perform data analysis to drive process improvements
- •Maintain risk management processes
- •Establish and improve processes related to the role
