System Design Responsible for Situational Awareness Systems(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Academic studies in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- Comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies and application experience
- Experience in system design, development, engineering, and/or integration of complex avionics systems
- Knowledge in systems engineering, requirements engineering, and integration in avionics
- Previous experience with agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe) advantageous
- Experience in Supplier Management
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Language skills: English business fluent / negotiation level, knowledge of German, French, or Spanish advantageous
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Drive the development of Situational Awareness capabilities
- Elaborate operational concepts and use cases
- Conduct requirement engineering and system specification
- Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and functional systems
- Define integration, verification, and validation strategies
- Support rig, ground, and flight testing
- Ensure system qualification and certification at H/C level
- Manage suppliers to secure technical requirements
- Execute projects according to overall H/C level planning
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization
- Participate in offer management and product sourcing policy
- Apply modern working methods and agile development
- Benchmark state-of-the-art situational awareness technologies
- Contribute to the implementation roadmap and product strategy
- Facilitate knowledge exchange within Airbus divisions
